Common questions

The scan returned the wrong food.
Tap the food name in the result card to edit it. The macros recalculate automatically.
How do I cancel my subscription?
iOS Settings → tap your Apple ID → Subscriptions → PlateIQ → Cancel Subscription.
How do I restore a subscription on a new device?
Open PlateIQ, go to the paywall, tap "Restore Purchase." You must be signed in with the same Apple ID that purchased the subscription.
The app says "No subscription products available."
This usually means the App Store finished provisioning your subscriptions but your device hasn't refreshed yet. Force-quit PlateIQ and reopen, or sign out and back in to your Apple ID.
Will my meal history sync across devices?
Not yet. Meal history is currently stored locally on each device. Cross-device sync is on the roadmap.
Does PlateIQ work without an internet connection?
The scan step needs internet (it sends the photo to our food-recognition backend). Once a meal is logged, viewing history and totals works offline.
